How to: Navigate Work & Cancer (9:45 AM PT) - 2.25 CEs/CNEs/PDCs
There are many employment-related questions to consider after a cancer diagnosis, and each person’s path will be different based on their treatment, personal- and work-circumstances. In this session, you will hear critical information and practical guidance for addressing your unique needs, including thinking through disclosure, tips for balancing treatment and work, dos and don’ts for an effective job search, communication strategies (including “The Swivel”), managing side effects and so much more.
How to: Identify & Set Boundaries (1:00 PM PT) - 1.5 CEs/CNEs/PDCs
Everyone has limits. If you are balancing work after a cancer diagnosis, those boundaries can become more substantial, they can also change. Identifying what yours are, what triggers them and productive ways to address them on the job is essential for your well-being as well as for your productivity on-the-job. This session will help you understand what boundaries are (and aren't) and empower you with techniques to effectively set them within your specific role and workplace.
