Thank you for reaching out. I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been having getting called in for interviews. Unfortunately, the market is a bit tough right now, with a lot of vacancies but even more applicants. This does NOT mean it’s impossible to get a job right now, but it may mean you need to readjust your approach. Getting to the interview stage seems to be a challenge due to the sheer number of applicants so it’s important to do what you can to stick out among the crowd. • I’d also recommend you take a look at the section on our website focused on Networking. Networking has been cited by many career coaches as the number one way to get a foot in the door, so I’d encourage you to examine how/if you’ve been networking and areas for improvement.


• The use of AI in job searches can be an incredible tool, particularly when dealing with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) which scan resumes, cover letters, and applications for specific key words and discard any resumes that do not contain them. Just an important thing to keep in mind as you are trying to stay up-to-date with current hiring practices. A blog post on The Use of AI in the Job Search may give you some further actionable tools.
