I really need to get back to work and get my mind going on something other than cancer.

Hello Judy,
Thank you so much for reaching out to Cancer and Careers. While we do not connect anyone directly with jobs and/or open positions, we do have a number of resources that can help you figure out your next steps, and tips and tools to be successful in the job hunt.
Since it sounds like you are at the early stage, I'd recommend taking a look at the following job search resources on our website:
The section of our website on Exploring Your Options hosts a number of articles that can be valuable as you narrow down what you want to do, and come up with an action plan.
While it's wise regardless of the type of work you're looking for, making sure your online presence is up-to-date can be even more important when looking for remote work - check out the articles in the Your Online Footprint
We offer publications for free either in hardcopy or by download - I think you'd find the Job Search Toolkit to be particularly informative.
Finally, once you feel like you've identified the direction you want to pursue and potentially found some jobs you'd like to apply to, I would recommend utilizing our free Resume Review Service to get your resume in good shape for applying!
This should be a good amount of material to start with. Please feel free to reach out to cancerandcareers@cew.org to set up a call if you'd like to discuss the above further, get additional resources, or work through some ideas and approaches.
