Hey everyone, I’m Skyler, 24,
Pips NYT developer, from Ohio. I recently wrapped up my job as a customer support associate for a small e-commerce company based in Columbus. It was my first full-time position after college, and I learned a lot about handling client inquiries, managing online orders, and solving day-to-day issues under pressure. Unfortunately, the company downsized last month, so now I’m back on the job market.
I’m hoping to move into a role that’s still customer-focused but offers more growth, something like an account coordinator or administrative specialist position. I’ve been browsing Indeed and LinkedIn daily, tailoring my applications, but responses have been pretty quiet so far. For anyone who’s landed a new job recently, how did you manage to stand out? Are there local Ohio job boards or communities that you’d recommend checking out? Any insight would mean a lot right now.
