Career Management,
Work/Life/Cancer Balance
Hello,
After returning to my original part time job 30 years later (retail sales) for health insurance, before the new health care options. I had taken several missteps recently in my career.
What I bring to the table is over 20 years of business operations, project/product management and customer experience to the work place. Now I am trying to assess where to take those skills into a job that is age appropriate - 50 + . I am INTP (Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking and Perceiving) person. My current job does not provide me positive cash flow. And my living situation needs to change in the frightfully expensive San Francisco Bay Area housing market. Are there tools for me to evaluate career options for where I am today on the website?
Thanks,
Mandi

Cancer and Careers Staff Comment:
Hi Mandi,
Thanks for writing to us and apologies for the delayed response. Unfortunately we don't have specific tools to help you evaluate where you currently are on the website. Our resources and tools are more broad to help people think through searching for a job or a career change after cancer. I would recommend checking out the following resources:
- Exploring Your Options: http://www.cancerandcareers.org/en/looking-for-work/exploring-your-options
- Job Search Toolkit: http://www.cancerandcareers.org/publication_orders/new
- Resume Review Service: http://www.cancerandcareers.org/resume_reviews/new
I hope that this is helpful!
Best,
Sarah, Manager of Programs, Cancer and Careers
