Economist Intelligence Unit - February 2017
The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has published a report on Cancer in the Workplace to assess the challenges that cancer poses for employers, examine workplace policies and practices to address the needs of those affected by the disease, and to explore possible measures to strengthen workplace support. The report is based on a survey of 500 executives, from around the world, looking at information on their companies approach to cancer in the workplace, as well as in-depth interviews with experts on caner in the workplace, including Cancer and Careers' very own chief mission officer, Rebecca V. Nellis.

By examining the rise of cancer survival along with the current employer policies around cancer, the report examines a possible path towards strengthening workplace support for those affected by cancer.
