Amy Reast - August 2026
Jade Fardon went to her doctor after experiencing unusual symptoms including a cough that would not go away. Following a CT scan she was diagnosed with lung cancer which was treated with an oral therapy to shrink the tumors. Two years later, metastases were found in her brain during a routine MRI which needed to be operated on. During her treatment she took a leave of absence from work.
She is now being monitored by her medical team with twice-monthly check-ups with her oncologist as well as scans but has been able to return to work four days a week.
