Gillian Telling - September 2025
Comedian Jeff Ross had a few weeks off between jobs and made various health appointments he put off while on the road touring. He had put off having a colonoscopy for ten years but thanks to a friend encouraging him, at age 60 he booked his first colonoscopy which led to a stage 3 colon cancer diagnosis. Ross underwent surgery to remove the tumor and six months of chemotherapy before receiving.
"I've got to tell, and tell this to your reader, the colonoscopy is nothing. People go, 'I don't want to do all the prep!' But just do it. It's easy."
