Joshua Askew - December 2025
Kerry Noble was working as a nurse at Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother Hospital in Kent, England when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had a mastectomy performed.
"I was anxious about being so vulnerable in front of my colleagues, but they were fantastic and really looked after me."
Noble took eight months off of work for treatment and recovery. When she returned, she realized she could use her experience in her work. "People will come and talk to me about their own worries or something a family member is going through, and I'm always happy to listen and share my own experiences"
