Denver Broncos player, Alex Singleton, was diagnosed with testicular cancer on November 3rd after a routine random NFL drug test helped detect signs of the cancer. He underwent emergency surgery and chose to share his story with the hope of encouraging others to seek out regular screening. After undergoing treatment, Alex Singleton returned to the field and was key for the Denver Broncos in their win against the Washington Commanders last Sunday.
"Thankfully, we believe the cancer was caught early with a great prognosis for me and my family. While we are still awaiting some additional test results, I fully expect to return to the field in the coming weeks."
