AL.com, an online news presence that covers current events in the state of Alabama, recently shared the inspiring story of Susan Hofelich, an oncology nurse who was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer and worked through treatment. Hofelich's cancer and work story is interesting in that she continued working with patients while undergoing a parallel treatment experience. 

"Throughout the ordeal, Hofelich kept working, treating patients in the infusion suite and only missing one day…While she is finished with this portion of the treatment, she will soon have a mastectomy to remove her left breast. In the meantime, Hofelich will be working with her cancer patients, providing both comedic relief and some hard-earned advice."
