David Watkins - December 2014
5 NBCDFW broadcast an inspiring clip about U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Tom Lee who beat testicular cancer, was injured by an IED in Iraq and is now training for the Paralympic Games. Lee beat his cancer diagnosis with 8 weeks of surgery and radiation, before being deployed to Iraq. He didn't let the cancer diagnosis or the injury from the IED in Iraq hold him back in life, and is currently training to represent America in the 2016 Summer Paralympic Games in Brazil.
