Arnold discusses how her diagnosis impacted her life, including her work. “'I took six weeks medical leave from work, then worked part-time for 16 weeks, ' Arnold recalled. 'My employer was very accommodating.'”
Having a supportive employer is very important and makes a huge difference in the lives of survivors who work through treatment or return to work after treatment.
