KITV 4 shares the inspiring story of Nayla Wilmore, who has been diagnosed with cancer five times and used to be a professional singer, but switched careers and started working as a massage therapist after her first diagnosis. Wilmore has a positive outlook and sees her career as a massage therapist as a second chance:
"She now gives around 30 massages a week and says although she endured a lot of pain to discover this rewarding job, it was worth it all. 'I am happy that it happened to me because it changed my life,' said Nayla. 'It really has put things into perspective in terms of valuing what's important and living every day, each day to the fullest.' "
Cancer is often inspiration for career change for survivors.
