Alabama's 13 recently reported that Jefferson County Manager Tony Petelos has returned to work after taking time off for treatment. His doctor cleared him to return to work and he explained that he's excited to be back and grateful for all of the support he received throughout his cancer battle.
“ 'I'm very grateful for all the prayers and all the considerations of the Commissioners, the department heads and the people of the county during this very difficult time that I had to go through,' he added. 'I'm looking forward to getting back to work and building up my strength so I can hit the ground running.' ”
