Cancer and Careers offers targeted and customizable in-house trainings for Human Resource professionals on the wide array of issues that may present themselves when an employee discloses a diagnosis. Trainings may cover topics such as: protecting employee privacy after disclosure of a cancer diagnosis; establishing workplace ecosystems that support staying on-the-job during treatment and/or easing back into the work routine after time off; best practices when having “difficult conversations” with employees about work and cancer; guiding frontline managers when a direct report discloses a diagnosis and more.
