Be the Boss Over Cancer

Cancer and Careers is collecting snapshots of the cancer experience by asking working people with cancer at all phases of their treatment and recovery to answer the same series of questions about their outlook, their work experience and advice they would give others. We invite you to read their stories and share your own.

How do you feel today?

I'm feeling great, and I have been since being diagnosed. It's amazing how alive getting a cancer diagnosis has made me feel, and how much incredible support I have in my life that I never knew existed. How do you feel today?

Positive, but frustrated to not have my surgery date. Worried about my colleague who is going into surgery for cervical cancer today. Thankful for the verbal support I have received so far especially from my sisters and best friends. I hope they will be able to handle it. I worry about that in a selfish but also concerned way.
