Is there a job board/website where people post jobs exclusively for cancer survivors?
Save as FavoriteIs there a job board/website where people post jobs exclusively for cancer survivors? Or, networking events/job fairs specifically for lawyers or in general?

Hi Diana,
We hear from many people who are looking for a resource that helps survivors find jobs, but unfortunately we don't know of a singular resource that does this. You might want to consider flexible work options, and a great website to find those kind of opportunities is flexjobs.com. It is a paid jobs listing site, but you can get 50% off by entering the code CANCER. As for networking/jobs fairs, there are many of these opportunities out there, it depends on where you live and the type of work that you’re looking for.
I would recommend conducting an online search for job fairs in your area, checking local job boards, community centers and universities. Given that you are a lawyer, you might want to check out your local bar association as well. Keep in mind that approximately 85% of jobs are found through networking, so you should also make a point of connecting (or reconnecting) with your professional community and letting them know that you are looking for work. You could consider setting up informational meetings with people to pick their brains. You should also make sure that you have a strong Linked In profile.
