The SELF Workouts in the Park are transformative total-body experiences that bring SELF Magazine to life by offering exciting workouts, beauty consultations, fashion tips, nutritional advice, and tons of freebies.
Last year, SELF demonstrated the hottest new exercise trends at Workout in the Park, including: Latin Rhythms -- Latin-based dance moves for working out; Million Dollar Knockout -- boxing training targeted specifically for and taught by women; and Prana Power -- mixing Vinyasa and Kundalini for a yoga double-whammy.
In 2011, events occurred on April 30 (San Francisco), May 7 (New York), and May 21 (Chicago).
Proceeds benefited Cancer and Careers and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Spa Week indulges consumers in $50 spa treatments at over 800 day spas across the United States and Canada. Consumers have the opportunity to indulge in full service spa treatments at a fraction of the cost. A portion of the proceeds from the Spring & Fall Events go to Cancer and Careers.

Cancer and Careers was thrilled to be the beneficiary of PinkFest, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness of breast and other women's cancers, and to raising funds to help women as they face the challenges of fighting the disease.
PinkFest 2009 was part of Hard Rock's Pinktober season and took place on October 21, 2009. There were three star performers -- returning headliner Joe D'Urso and Stone Caravan, The Vowels, and Christine Martucci.
