Be the Boss Over Cancer

Stringing together two or more part-time jobs is a hot trend among today's young adults -- but could this trend be adopted by cancer survivors? No question, holding down multiple jobs (part-time or not) is a strain on your faculties, and if you're a cancer survivor you likely already have a lot of existing strain.  So in order to determine if this is something that could work for you, there are four key steps to take:

  1. Gauge your energy level -- but think beyond it
  2. Get creative with the possibilities, but stay realistic
  3. Add up the pros and cons
  4. Find flexible companies

The bottom line is that you don't want to be taken advantage of by a company, so be sure to thoroughly investigate an opportunity before jumping in.  And try to get creative with your arrangements.
