Our Ask the Experts series is an open, interactive online forum designed to provide our community with knowledge and insights into their work-related concerns. Each session will focus on a work and cancer related topic, guided by an expert in that field. It’s a special opportunity to hear their thoughts, get guidance and have your questions answered live.
During this session, Edwin González, Senior Human Resources Manager at Tate's Bake Shop, will answer your questions related to work challenges during/after treatment. What can HR do to help an employee with cancer balance work and treatment? Will an employee’s job be protected while undergoing treatment? What is considered a reasonable accommodation under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other applicable laws? Edwin will address these questions and much more!
