Description: www.CancerKidsandParents.org is a place for kids to have fun and parents to get information and raise money for their families. There are hundreds of cancer sites but none of them combine these issues. As you probably know, 60% of bankruptcy in our country is caused by medical bills. There are programs to help pay for drugs, medical care, parking and transportation. However, not being able to work, I find that my needs go far beyond that. Because we spend some much money related to cancer, we donít have money for everyday living. This site proposes to set up fundraising programs so parents can raise money to pay for food, childcare, theatre tickets, school field trips, etc. These are real needs that all parents affected by cancer understand.
