Today I am doing as good as can be expected. My biggest problem is nerve damage in both legs. After my treatments, I walked with a cane for 4.5 years. NO MORE! I have good days & bad days. I just take it one day at a time!

How do you feel today?

Happy to be alive. Physically still active, have increased fatigue, but occasional naps help. Memory and attention span is challenging to say the least, but trying to improve. Experience side effects from chemo and nausea meds when I am on them for the 5 straight days.

Still tired. I'm having problems sleeping trough the night. I'm still working on weight gain. My joints ache from lack of muscle. I have a constant ringing hum in my right ear, which I try to drown out with a fan.

How do you feel today?

Discouraged. I keep waking up in the middle of the night and have trouble falling back to sleep due to a thousand thoughts running through my brain. I am frustrated with waiting...wanted to start chemo by now so it can be done before Christmas and my graduation from PA school, but we are still waiting on test results.

Tired. I lost 53 pounds during treatment and subsequent throat infections. Lying down in bed or in the recliner is still painful, so I'm not sleeping well. I try to rest a few times during the day.
