Need A Mock Interview
Save as FavoriteI hate interviewing. This could one of the factors I am not getting any job offers. I go on abouut 3 to 4 interviews every week.
I have been looking for a very long time, and I do feel that I am burned out of the job market.
I some one would be will doing to an in person mock interview with me and tell me what I am doing wrong. I have some help in interviewing but all of this has bee over the phone.
I was at the conference on Friday at the end with all the Human Resources people. I said may be one of the could do a mock interview with me and tell me what is not going the right way.

Hi Susan,
Unfortunately we are unable to offer in-person services such as mock interviews at this time as our career coaches are all pro bono and are not based in the NYC area. However I have a few suggestions:
- The New York Public Library offers mock interviews at set times during the year - contact your local branch to find out availability.
- Check out the Career One Stop Service Locator to find organizations near you that provide free or low-cost workforce services: http://www.servicelocator.org/
- Your local YMCA/YWCA may provide mock interview groups - contact them to find out.
- You might also want to enlist the help of a friend who has interviewed people at their respective company. If they're unsure of what to ask you, give them a list of questions (such as this: http://jobsearch.about.com/od/interviewquestionsanswers/a/interviewquest.htm) to get them started. Be sure to ask them to be as honest as possible as their insight could help you to land a position somewhere.
I hope one (or all!) of these resources provide the help you need. We wish you the best of luck!
Warmly,
Alice
